My spreadsheet features a built-in alert system that guides your investment decisions based on real-time return on investment (ROI) for each stock you hold. This system simplifies decision-making and helps you capitalize on profitable opportunities while minimizing losses.

How it works:

• ROI Thresholds:
  • Below 0% ROI: The alert triggers a "Hold" signal, indicating the stock is currently underperforming and may require further observation before making any decisions.
  • Above 0% ROI: The alert triggers a "Sell" signal, suggesting the stock has reached a profitable level, and selling could lock in your gains.

For instance, if you bought Stock X at $10 and it's now trading at $12.50 with a trade fee of $0.00, your total ROI is 25%. The "Alert" would prompt you to sell, securing a 25% profit.

Here’s how to calculate it:

ROI = ((Current Value - Initial Value) / Initial Value) * 100

ROI = (($12.50 - $10) / $10) * 100

ROI = 25%
